It may not seem like it, with it being FEBRUARY and all, but bluebonnet season is coming! Those gorgeous fields of blue will be here before you know it, and I will be ready. Some of my favorites shots in the bluebonnets came two years ago. (No 2015 pics to show you as I skipped them last year to spend some time with my new baby.)

And that's not all...I will also be offering Mommy & Me sessions this year, too. :) So mamas, love on your babies and I'll be there to photograph all that lovin'. Here is an example of a Mommy & Me session.

Bluebonnet time slots: 4:30 PM / 4:50 PM / 5:10 PM- TAKEN / 5:30 PM / 5:50 PM / 6:10 PM / 6:30 PM

Mommy & Me time slots: 4:30 PM- TAKEN / 4:55 PM / 5:15 PM / 5:35 PM / 5:55 PM / 6:15 PM / 6:35 PM

Locations will be finalized and sent out as the dates draw a little closer.

"Everyone must take the time to sit and watch the leaves turn." - Elizabeth Lawrence

Oh, to sit outside with a hot cup of tea, enjoying the cool autumn breeze and watching the leaves turn. That just sounds so serene. Too bad the summer heat tends to overstay its welcome here in Texas. :) Don't get me wrong-- we get some autumn days, but there seem to be so few of them! Or maybe the fall we have here doesn't come close to the ones we see elsewhere. The grass is always greener, I know.

Regardless, when I do catch a glimpse of a little Texas fall action, I relish it! Like brown leaves and maroon-colored dresses. (I'll take what I can get, when it's minutes away from home!)

The cute little girl with the spunky personality IN said maroon-colored dress is just the cherry on the cake! pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville children photographer - Toni Marie Photography

It really is a whole new ballgame when you photograph families with "big kids." I mean, they follow directions so easily and give the good smile the first time and are really so much fun.

Plus, it always hits me right in the feels when I witness that family lovin'. It may have transformed from tickles and being thrown in the air by your daddy to inside jokes and silly string fights, but it's still there. Alive and growing stronger every day. <3 round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography round rock family photographer - Toni Marie Photography

One of the great things about a lifestyle photography session is that it can happen within the four walls of your own home! No traveling for the session. No remembering to pack snacks/bribery treats/favorite toys. Oh and, this is HUGE in Texas- no worrying about the weather!

Another great thing about them is that it's a little easier for everyone to be themselves. This is a big deal for kids. There is just less pressure for them overall. You've got all their favorites nearby: people, toys, pets, etc. And bonus: there is a/c and a restroom close enough for them to walk to on their own! ;) If they're a little crabby from nap, no big deal. Let them do their thing and we'll capture whatever moments transpire. Plus, usually we get the really cute, natural smiles because they get to be themselves.

When Jessica and I started talking details for their session, originally we were going to a park, but then there were concerns about it being too hot so we agreed to shoot at their home. Going in, I was a little nervous, but once everyone got into their groove, it was easy peasy. And now, I present some of my favorite images from my very first lifestyle home session (this was taken in 2013, but just now getting around to posting pics!) Oh, and three of the cutest kids you'll ever see. :) cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography cedar park lifestyle photography - Toni Marie Photography

I was recently reminded of this session and went through the images again and again. I loved this session then and I love it now. We started out with some shots of sweet Addison, who was just the sweetest little thing you ever saw. I remember admiring her infectious smile and that gorgeous hair! Sweet A couldn't take a bad picture if she tried!

But my absolute favorites from this session?

Duh.
The ones with MOM in them.

As a mom myself, I can't help but be a sucker for images of other mamas, in their element, loving on their babies. A and her mama were so cute together, like two peas in a pod, making each other laugh with tickles and silly dances. And their coordinating outfits? Oh my goodness. I die! <3 Have I mentioned how much I LOVED this session? pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography pflugerville family photographer - Toni Marie Photography
